Aug 25 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index hit a record high on Wednesday as oil prices inched higher, while financial stocks rallied following upbeat quarterly results from Royal Bank and National Bank. At 9:30 a.m. ET (1330 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was up 31.33 points, or 0.15%, at an all-time high of 20,579.09. The energy sector climbed 0.2%, while the financials sector gained 0.3%.
