Fahad Bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel took the oath of office as the new health minister before the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman virtually. He said, "I swear by Allah Almighty, to be faithful to my religion, and then to our King and homeland, not to divulge a secret of State, and to protect its interests and regulations at home and abroad, and to perform my duties with utmost honesty, integrity and sincerity." The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques wished the minister of health all success. The oath was taken following the royal orders issued on Friday. Al-Jalajel had served as the Vice Minister of Health for Planning and Development prior to his appointment as new health minister replacing Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, who was in the position since 2016. — SG
