Prince Abdulaziz: Ministry to shift to digitalization in all its procedures, services

Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Naif, Wednesday attended the 7th ABSHER Forum for E-transactions at the Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh. During the ceremony, Prince Abdulaziz stressed that, in implementation of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense, the Ministry is focusing on all its tasks to realize Saudi Vision 2030 program, such as shifting to digitalization in all its procedures and services and enabling all its partners of ministries, public and private sectors institutions, and individuals to reach data and services digitally in a safe way. Prince Abdulaziz noted that technology has become a main demand, not only during our daily lives, but also in the practical and private lives, noting that the inception of technology into the labor and transactions arena led to great results that contributed to speed, accuracy, production efficiency and cancelling distances and serving applicants from their own locations. The Minister of Interior also noted that Saudi Arabia has always been keen on adopting the public digital transformation, which led to successive achievements in the technological fields in an unprecedented way to reach the smart government. Later on, the Minister of Interior launched several e-services at the "ABSHER Individuals" platform, which aims at serving society members of citizens and residents, in addition to launching "ABSHER Dhakhiliah (Internal)" that is directed to members of the Ministry of Interior and its security sectors, and other new e-service for “Maidan (Field)” platform that serves security officers. — SPA
