Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, advisor at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), met here Tuesday with World Food Program (WFP) officials on the sidelines of the meeting of the second ordinary session of the World Food Program (WFP) Executive Board in Rome. Dr. Al Rabeeah met with Michael Dunford, WFP regional director for eastern Africa, Corinne Fleischer, WFP regional director for the Middle East and North Africa, and John Aylieff, WFP regional director for Asia and the Pacific. During the meeting, Al-Rabeeah briefed the WFP officials with KSrelief’s efforts and humanitarian and relief projects offered in affected and needy states, which reached 1,784 projects in 76 countries, mainly in Yemen. The meeting also went over the latest development in joint projects between KSrelief and WFP to eliminate hunger and guarantee the delivery of all food and nutritional assistance to the needy wherever they are. For their part, WFP officials commended the strategic ties between the two sides, praising the professional performance of KSrelief in the humanitarian work field. — SPA
