— The activities of the Innovation and the Future of Government Work Conference concluded on Thursday in Riyadh, which was sponsored by the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi, and organized by the Institute of Public Administration from Feb 9-10. Over the span of two days, the conference discussed six sessions that focused on four main aspects: government innovation, public policies, finance and economy, and digital transformation. Leaders, decision-makers, and experts in the field of government innovation participated in this event. The sessions included discussions on finance, economy, innovation, and Saudi Vision 2030 by interlocutors and keynote speakers throughout the two days of the conference. The participants discussed the most prominent projects, programs, and initiatives based on innovation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the role of innovation in achieving the goals of Vision 2030, global trends in government innovation, experiences, practices, and programs of leading countries in the field of innovation and the mechanisms used in charting future paths to enhance government innovation and enable international cooperation to enhance the prosperity of innovative systems. The participants discussed models of partnerships aimed at government innovation and how companies can contribute to achieving the goals and directions of government agencies based on innovation, public policies, and national programs aimed at improving government work, enabling government innovation in various government activities and works, future jobs and features of the government work environment In the future, the global economic future in light of rapid changes and successive crises, global economic transformations, strengthening cooperation between the elements of the research and innovation system, and opportunities to increase the competitiveness of the Kingdom in the areas of government innovation. On the sidelines of the conference, an exhibition was held with the participation of several local bodies, ministries, government and private sectors, which reviewed their most prominent experiences in the field of innovation and presented innovative products, which the sons and daughters of the Kingdom worked on. It is noteworthy that the conference aims to foresee the future and stimulate a culture of innovation in the practice of government work. It was organized by the Institute based on its role as a pioneer and a distinguished partner in supporting administrative development and keeping pace with global trends in government innovation.
