The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) is participating in the World Defense Show that is hosted by Riyadh between March 6 and 9, 2022, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, with the aim of reviewing Saudi Arabia’s expertise in the empowerment of frequency spectrum to defense technologies and its importance to military and security fields. The commission’s pavilion reviews Saudi Arabia’s journey and entrepreneurship in the frequency spectrum fields and its contribution to empowering various sectors, as well as the commission’s role in administrating and organizing the frequency spectrum and utilizing it in security fields. The CITIC’s participation also highlights the value of frequency spectrum as a national wealth that empowers various wireless applications, where various defense operations rely on it in their systems, in addition to its support for military uses, analyzing wireless signals and building tactical and practical decisions. The commission also allows visitors of the global exhibition with an opportunity to check on the latest devices of advanced frequency spectrum, which receive high importance at various military and security fields for what they include of high-end technologies and usages. — SPA
