Dr. Rabeeah meets Jordanian conjoined twins 12 years after their separation

Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, the Adviser at the Saudi Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), met in Amman on Thursday with the Jordanian conjoined twins whom he separated 12 years ago. Mohammed and Amjad, who were joined in their lower chest, abdomen, liver, and intestines, underwent a successful separation operation at King Abdulaziz Medical City for the National Guard in Riyadh in 2010. Dr. Al Rabeeah stressed that the Saudi twins" separation program come under the generous directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince to provide medical assistance to those in need, and the program will remain the tender touch of the Kingdom to treat and care for conjoined twins around the world. The parents of the Jordanian twins extended their appreciation and gratitude to the Kingdom, the government, and people, for their efforts to conduct the separation surgery and treatment of their two children by a distinguished Saudi medical team, which resulted in their recovery. They praised the sublime care that the Saudi twins" separation program enjoys from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince. — SPA
