RIYADH: The Diriyah Gate Development Authority plans to launch the third Armani Hotel globally, to be managed by the Emaar Hospitality Group, in the city of Diriyah in Saudi Arabia. Armani Hotel Diriyah will include 70 rooms, two restaurants and a high-end spa, connected to approximately 18 ultra-luxury Armani Branded Residences, DGDA said in a statement. “As we develop what will become one of the world’s great gathering places, rich in culture, history and authenticity, we are proud to partner with brands such as Armani who demonstrate such a timeless approach to hospitality,” Jerry Inzerillo, CEO of DGDA said. Upon completion, the city of Diriyah will include 13 districts inclusive of museums, cultural institutions, residences, hospitality offerings, office space, retail, and outdoor attractions. Established in 2017, DGDA seeks to preserve and develop the Kingdom’s historic city Diriyah, a key driver of the Kingdom’s Saudi Vision 2030.
