RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Yemen met with UN Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg in Riyadh on Monday. During the meeting, Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Jaber emphasized the Kingdoms support for UN efforts to reach a comprehensive political solution in Yemen. The officials also discussed joint efforts to ensure the UN sponsored truce in the war-torn country is a success, with the aim of reaching a permanent and comprehensive cease-fire in Yemen, and starting the political process. Grundberg also met with the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf on Monday.
