Dr. Laila Al-Qassem, acting undersecretary of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance for Planning and Digital Transformation, has won the Best Female Leader Award in Digital Transformation, at the 12th edition of the Regional Conference on Digital Transformation held in Dubai. Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Dr. Abdullatif Al Al-Sheikh received Dr. Al-Qassem at a reception where he congratulated her on this achievement, pointing out that the ministry, with the support of the Saudi leadership, is striving to provide all its services within the digital transformation per the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The 2022 edition of the Regional Conference on Digital Transformation, which saw the attendance of experts and leaders of digital transformation from around the world, will hold its next edition in the Kingdom on Aug. 10, and aims to support and stimulate digital transformation, targeting government organizations, other sectors, and individuals. The ministry has won two international awards, the first was the Leadership Award in Artificial Intelligence at the Riyadh International Exhibition and Conference for Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing 2022, held in Riyadh from 22 to 24 of this month. The second award was the 27th Middle East Award Government and Smart Cities Excellence Award in the Excellence of Electronic Content Category.
