MoH provides treatment services for more than 97,000 pilgrims in the Holy Sites

The Ministry of Health disclosed that the number of pilgrims who received treatment services through hospitals and health centers in Makkah, Arafat, Muzdalifah, Mina and Jamarat reached 97,262 pilgrims until July 10. During this Hajj season 2022, the Ministry of Health prepared its health facilities to provide treatment services to pilgrims, as the number of hospitals reached 23, supported by 147 health centers. The clinical capacity increased to 4,654, while the number of beds allocated for intensive care reached 1080. The number of health cadres qualified to serve the pilgrims was about 25,000 practitioners. Medical clinics provide health care for guests As part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah and Visit, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance pays great attention to the health of the guests of the program since their arrival in Saudi Arabia. The Ministry provides the guest headquarters in Makkah and the Holy Sites with specialized medical clinics equipped with all therapeutic and preventive medicines as well as emergency and diagnostic equipment. The clinic operates with an integrated medical staff around the clock. — SPA
