She has won the ‘Rising Star Award’ for her non-fiction book The Sleeping Beauty Wakes Up: A Feminist Interpretation of Fairy Tales. She is an invited poet by the Sahitya Akademi and the Chandrabhaga Poetry Festival committee. Sreetanwi’s stories, poems and essays have been published in national and international magazines and journals. She is a member of MERLOT and MLA. Recent poems in anthologies include Of Dry Tongues and Brave Hearts and The Well-Earned. Her upcoming work is Rhododendrons, a novel.
