Lulu KSA launches Zahra breast cancer awareness campaign

With the world preparing to mark October as “Think Pink” month for promoting breast cancer awareness, LuLu Hypermarket, the largest retail chain in the region, has announced the launch of a fund and awareness drive in all its hypermarkets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. To be held under the patronage of Princess Haifa bint Faisal al Saud,Chairman of Zahra association. the Zahra Breast Cancer Campaign combines awareness raising for breast cancer with environmental sensitivity. This campaign has run consequently and will be entering its fifth year this time. This social initiative will be donating one Saudi Riyal to the Zahra breast cancer awareness association for the sale of every reusable bag across LuLu stores. The Charity initiative under the hashtag #BuyGreenSupportPink will be raising awareness for breast cancerand also focusing on spreading awareness of early detection. As part of this campaign, the proceeds of the sale of every reusable bag in the hypermarkets will go to Zahra breast cancer association. “At LuLu, we are dedicating October to breast cancer awareness under the patronage of Her Royal Highness and this year, the motto of the global campaign is RISE – Rally In Screening Everyone and pushes for widespread screening of the public for earlydetection,” said Shehim Mohammed – Director, LuLu Saudi Arabia."At Lulu, we are standing shoulder to shoulder with Zahra to support breast cancer awareness"
