Saudi Arabia and China have signed a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement, Saudi state news agency SPA said on Thursday, during a state visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, met with Xi at Al Yamamah Palace in Riyadh in the presence of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. They discussed ways to consolidate historic relations between the two countries, SPA said. Following the meeting, the King and the Chinese president signed the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement.
