SEU signs contracts with 45 Indonesian Universities to teach Arabic

The Saudi Electronic University (SEU), signed in Jakarta Wednesday, 45 contracts with universities from various regions of Indonesia, to present the "Arabic Online" global university program, during a ceremony prepared for this occasion, which was hosted by Sharif Hidayatullah State Islamic University. The signing of these contracts is part of the university"s commitment to helping the Kingdom realize its Vision 2030 objectives for protecting and promoting the Arabic language, as well as reaffirming the Kingdom"s role as a global center for the Arabic language. Prof. Dr. Lailak Bint Ahmed Al-Safadi, president of the SEU, underlined in her speech, the wise leadership"s interest in all that would help the Arabic language and expand its sciences. Dr. Al-Safadi stated that the "Arabic Online Program" aims to make it easier for people around the world to learn Arabic by removing obstacles such as the scarcity of school seats in Arab nations. The program is a revolution in how Arabic is taught to non-Arabic speakers because it is presented in an interactive self-learning model . The model has 1,548 interactive scenes, 12,224 audio files, 382 integrated educational lessons, and 6,862 educational training in Arabic, 16 levels divided into 6 stages, where the learner starts with a placement test and ends with a language proficiency test. It is noteworthy that the SEU provides the service of learning Arabic to more than 15 different language speakers around the world. — SPA
