Pakistan, India Agree To Continue Peace Dialogue, Promote Regional Stability 2

Islamabad For his part, the Indian Minister of External Affairs underlined the necessity of continuing the peace dialogue between the two countries to build confidence and find solutions to all issues of the dispute, including Kashmir. He also noted that his talks with Pakistani Foreign Minister were comprehensive and constructive. Krishna said he was convinced of the progress that has been made during the meeting. He said that the peace dialogue between India and Pakistan is moving in the right direction, stressing the desire of India in building strong relations with Pakistan. Krishna also disclosed that he agreed with his Pakistani counterpart on the need to end the dispute over Kashmir, and forge bilateral cooperation in combating terrorism and promoting trade and economic ties. Meanwhile, the Pakistani television reported that the two sides agreed to address the obstacles that hinder trade and decided to ease visa procedures, and facilitate transport and trade between the two parts of the disputed Kashmir region between the two countries.
