United Nations, Safar 21, 1432, Jan 25, 2011, SPA -- U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Monday condemned the bombing attack on a busy airport near Russian capital Moscow that has killed more than 30 people and injured more than 130. The bomb at Domodedovo International Airport was packed "full of metal pieces" and was the equivalent of between 15 and 22 pounds of explosive chemical TNT, a source in the Russian Investigation Committee told Russia's RIA Novosti news agency. "The secretary-general is appalled by the deadly bombing today at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport which has reportedly killed dozens of people and injured more than a hundred," U.N. spokesman Farhan Haq said at a regular news briefing. "The Secretary-General condemns this deplorable and unjustifiable act of violence against innocents." Haq added. --SPA 11:03 LOCAL TIME 08:03 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/858988
