Baghdad, Rabi Al-Awwal 17, 1432, Feb 20, 2011, SPA -- The Governor of Sulaimaniya Governorate, under the jurisdiction of Iraq's Kurdistan province, has urged citizens and members of the political parties and civil society organizations and media outlets to refrain from participating in any bid that would create chaos and strife and destabilize security in the province. In a statement issued today, the Governor invited them to maintain the security and calm of the city of Sulaimaniya. Meanwhile, local sources said the city witnessed clashes between demonstrators demanding reforms and the security men, adding that 15 persons were wounded in the clashes including 8 policemen.
