Khartoum, Safar 07, 1432, Jan 11, 2011, SPA -- Sudan's President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir, has offered the South exemption from the burden of any debt in the event of Southerners voting for independence. A statement from the office of President Al-Bashir said that any prospective attempt to split the debt between the North and the Southern state, it would be pointless because the new state will not be able to service the debt, according to a report of the Associated Press.
