LONDON, July 06, 2010, SPA -- Britain's Ministry of Defense says a soldier serving in Afghanistan has been killed by an explosion while on patrol. The ministry says the soldier, from 1st Battalion of the Mercian Regiment, was injured Sunday while patrolling the Nahr-e Saraj District in southern Afghanistan's Helmand Province.
