LONDON, June 20, SPA -- Britain's military says one of its soldiers has died during an operation in southern Afghanistan. The British Ministry of Defense says a solider from the1st Battalion Welsh Guards died Friday while on a routinepatrol near Lashkar Gah in central Helmand province.
