New York, Jan 02, 2011, Jan 02, 2010, SPA -- UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon telephoned the winner of Ivory Coast's presidential election to offer his support for his government. The United Nations said Saturday evening that Ban called Alassane Quattara, who has been declared the winner of the November 28 election. Incumbent Laurent Gbagbo has refused to accept the outcome or leave office.
