United Nations, January 30, 2010, SPA -- The Palestinian mission to the United Nations on Friday submitted its response to the Goldstone fact-finding inquiry on last winter's Gaza conflict and said it has established a commission to investigate the claims made in the Goldstone Report. "The Palestinian leadership established an independent commission through a decree by President Mahmoud Abbas and I had the honor today to transmit to the secretary-general a letter from Prime Minister Salaam Fayad... along with a first preliminary report of this commission," said Riyad Mansour, the Palestinian envoy to the U.N.
