United Nations, Oct 29, SPA- The U.N. Security Council will hold a special session on the situation in Afghanistan today, Reuters quoted the United Nations as saying. It was not immediately clear what would be the focus of the meeting, which takes place a day after Taliban militants attacked a U.N. guest house in Kabul, killing five U.N. staff. The U.N. press office said in a statement that U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon was expected to brief the 15-nation council at the meeting, which takes place at 3:30 p.m. EDT (1930 GMT). --SPA 19:07 LOCAL TIME 16:07 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/713964
