THE HAGUE, October 26 (SPA) - Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic boycotted the start of his war crimes trial in the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, refusing to appear in court on Monday, Reuters reported. Karadzic faces 11 war crimes charges arising from the 1992-95 Bosnian war, including genocide at Srebrenica, but said last week he had not had enough time to prepare his defense and would not attend the hearing.
