THE HAGUE, Netherlands, June 04, SPA -- Former Liberian President Charles Taylor boycotted the opening of his war crimes trial, and his assigned lawyer walked out of the courtroom, the Associated Press reported. Karim Khan said Taylor had withdrawn permission torepresent him and was applying to represent himself. Khan gathered his defense files and left the room.
