Damascus, Oct 5, SPA -- Syrian Vice-president Farouq al-Shara received here today Saudi ambassador to Syria Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al-Eifan. Speaking on the occasion, al-Shara welcomed al-Eifan and hoped that the Saudi Syrian relations would further be enhanced. On his part, al-Eifan expressed appreciation for the warm welcome given to him by the Syrian officials and people, and confirmed his keenness on working to further cement bilateral relations under the directives of the Saudi and Syrian Leaderships. They reviewed aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the various domains. Meanwhile, Syrian interior minister Major General Saeed Samour received today al-Eifan. Al-Eifan also met with Egyptian ambassador to Syria Shawki Isma’il as well as Algerian ambassador to Syria Salih Bousha.
