LONDON, July 20, SPA -- A British soldier has been killed by an explosion in southern Afghanistan. The Defense Ministry says the soldier of The 2nd Battalionthe Royal Regiment of Fusiliers was on foot patrol Sundayin Afghanistan's Helmand Province. The death brings the total number of British servicemenkilled in the country to 186. The soldier's family has beennotified.
