Ankara, Turkey, May 08, 2010, SPA-- The presidents of Turkey and Syria have met to discuss ways to revive the stalled peace talks with Israel and to boost bilateral ties. Syrian President Bashar Assad sat down with Turkish President Abdullah Gul in Istanbul on Saturday to consider how to restart the talks. Assad has repeatedly said that there is no Israeli partner willing to achieve peace. Syria has demanded the full withdrawal of Israeli troops from the Golan Heights as a condition for peace, according to a report of the Associated Press. --SPA 14:43 LOCAL TIME 11:43 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/778292
