ISLAMABAD, January 09, 2010, SPA -- British Foreign Secretary David Miliband arrived here Saturday morning on a two-day visit to "listen" to Pakistan"s political, economic and security concerns. "I am here to listen to Pakistan"s political, economic and security concerns," Miliband told reporters upon arrival. During his stay, Miliband will be holding meetings with the president, premier, foreign minister and opposition leaders, according to a report of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA). Miliband told reporters that he will hold talks with all main political leaders, adding that his visit is aimed at strengthening the bilateral relations. "I"ll be discussing how Pakistan is rising to the challenge against terrorism and addressing the dangers that it faces," he said. Diplomatic sources told KUNA that his talks with political leadership would mainly focus on security and stability related developments in the war-torn Afghanistan. His visit, they said, is in connection with the upcoming conference on Afghanistan.
