DAMASCUS, December 06, SPA -- Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to visit Damascus on December 22 to head his country"s delegation at the first joint meeting of the Turkish-Syrian Strategic Council, a Syrian diplomat said on Sunday. Erdogan is also scheduled to meet top Syrian officials, headed by President Bashar Assad on bilateral ties and Middle East Peace, Syrian Ambassador to Turkey Nidal Qabalan was quoted as saying by Kuwait"s News Agency (KUNA).
