LIMA, Peru, July 12, SPA -- An earthquake with a preliminarymagnitude of 5.3 has struck southern Peru. The country'sseismic institute says there are no immediate reports ofdamage or injury. Peru's Geophysics Institute says the quake struck at 1:12a.m. (0612 GMT) Sunday in Cuzco province, 44 kilometers (27miles) southeast of Yauri.
