London, June 05, SPA --Transport Secretary Geoff Hoon today became the latest minister to step down from the government of British PrimeMinister Gordon Brown, dpa cited the BBC as reporting. Hoon, a former defence secretary, had been implicated in thelong-running scandal over parliamentary expenses and admitted havingmade a "mistake" by claiming allowances for two homes simultaneously.
