NAZRAN, Russia, July 15, SPA -- Militants in Russia's restive south fatally shot five law enforcement personnel in separateattacks, authorities were quoted as saying by The Associated Press on Wednesday. Two police officers and two elite troops were killed inChechnya late Tuesday when police engaged in an hour-longgunfight with up to 15 suspected insurgents, whosubsequently fled into woodland, Chechnya's interiorministry said in a statement.
