KATMANDU, Nepal, May 17, SPA -- An alliance of 22 parties says it has enough support in parliament to form Nepal's newcoalition government. The alliance says it will back veteran communist leaderMadhav Kumar Nepal as its candidate for prime minister, according to a report of Associated Press. Parliament speaker Subash Nemwang says the alliance ofNepali Congress, the Communist Party of Nepal (UnitedMarxist Leninist) and smaller groups has filed a claim toform a new government and has begun the process of puttingtogether an administration.
