As regard the situation in Gaza, Al-Riyadh newspaper said following the formation of a government led by right-wingers in Israel, the Palestinian leaders should be aware of the importance of the reconstruction process in Gaza. The paper expressed the belief that Israel will turn down any endeavor to put pressures on it, and said Israel is the strategic regional power of the west and even the new US president Barack Obama will be keen on ensuring the security of Israel and Washington’s military and material support to the Jewish state will continue. The paper pointed out that as the gulf states don't extend conditional assistance to Gaza, adding that the salvation of Gaza will be the responsibility of the Palestinian leaders because any obstacle before the reconstruction of Gaza will double the sufferings of the Palestinians and serve the Israeli interests.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/637999
