KABUL, Afghanistan, July 01, SPA -- Helicopters and a bomberattacked insurgents massing in eastern Afghanistan undercover of darkness and killed more than 30 of them, theU.S.-led coalition said Tuesday. Reconnaissance aircraft spotted «large groupings» ofinsurgents armed with heavy machine-guns androcket-propelled grenades on Monday night in Khostprovince, the coalition was quoted as saying by the Associated Press. «After positively identifying the insurgents, coalitionforces engaged them with attack helicopters and a close airsupport bomber, killing approximately 33 of them, »spokesman 1st Lt.
