Riyadh, Jan 10, SPA -- The Saudi newspapers shed light today on the resolution issued by the security council on Thursday calling for ceasefire and for the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza as well as opening border crossings. The papers said this development might pave the way for ending bloodshed in Gaza which has been suffering from the Israeli shillings. The papers believe that the issuance of the resolutions constitutes a victory for the Arab diplomacy. By issuing this resolution the Security Council will restore confidence on the peace making mechanism, said the papers noting that the rejection of Israel to comply with the resolution constitutes a defiance to the UN and to the international will. --more www.spa.gov.sa/624420
