Johannesburg, December 05 , SPA --South Africa said Friday it would send agovernment delegation to neighbouring Zimbabwe to assess theworsening health and food crisis in the country, DPA reported. The delegation, to be led by a senior official in the office ofPresident Kgalema Motlanthe, is to meet with government, aidagencies, trade unions and churches to assess the needs of desperateZimbabweans. Government spokesman Themba Maseko said the delegation, which willreport back to a ministerial meeting in South Africa next week, wouldaim to ensure "that humanitarian assistance is delivered in a non-partisan way and that the beneficiaries of the aid are the ordinaryZimbabweans."--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/614032
