BAGHDAD, November 15, SPA -- A senior aide to Prime Minister NouriAl-Maliki says Iraq and the United States are now inagreement over a final draft of a security pact that wouldallow American troops to stay in Iraq for three more yearsafter their U.N. mandate expires Dec. 31. He says copies of the agreement will be distributed toCabinet members later Saturday after a final revision ofthe Arabic translation and could be put to a vote in anemergency meeting Sunday or Monday. The aide says the agreement stands «a good chance» of being passed by a two-thirdsmajority in the 37-member Cabinet.
