BISSAU, Guinea-Bissau, November 23, SPA -- Armed men have attacked theresidence of Guinea-Bissau's president and engaged in athree-hour gunbattle with security forces. There is no information on where President Joao Bernardo«Nino» Vieira was and whether he has been hurt. Thegovernment has not yet made a statement. Dozens of security forces have surrounded the president'shome in the West African country's capital of Bissau.
