SEOUL, South Korea, November 22, SPA -- North Korea strongly rejected aU.N. resolution condemning its human rights record, reports said Saturday. The U.N. General Assembly's human rights committeeapproved the resolution Friday. The resolution expressed«very serious concern» at rights violations in NorthKorea, according to a report of Associated Press. Before the committee passed the resolution by a vote of 95to 24 with 62 abstentions, the deputy chief of NorthKorea's mission to the United Nations in New York said «The resolution is a product of a political plot to forcibly change North Korea's system and ideology,» according to South Korea's Yonhap news agency.
