DHAKA, September 12 (SPA) - Bangladesh's former primeminister Sheikh Hasina will return home from the United Statesearly next month, party officials said on Friday, to try tomend rifts in her party ahead of elections planned forDecember. Hasina will likely face Begum Khaleda Ziain the December poll after Khaleda was released on Thursdayfrom prison, where she was being held on alleged graft charges, Reuters reported. The army-backed interim government granted parole toHasina, who was detained last year on alleged corruptioncharges, in June so she could go the United States for medicaltreatment.
