KUWAIT CITY, May 17, SPA -- Voters in Kuwait lined up Saturday tovote in landmark parliamentary elections, the Associated Press reported. The elections come after Kuwait's ruler, Sheikh Sabah AlAhmed Al Sabah, dissolved parliament in March in the wakeof the current relationship between the Cabinet, appointed by the ruler, and the 50-man legislative body. The hope is that the new parliament will be morerepresentative and be able to better work with thegovernment's ministers. Kuwait first elected a parliament in 1963.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/556622
