New Delhi , March 08 , SPA -- At least 20 people were injured in two separateexplosions in crowded marketplaces in India's north-eastern Assamstate Saturday, dpa quoted news reports as saying. Six of the injured were in critical condition, PTI news agencyreported quoting police sources. Sixteen people were injured in a powerful explosion in a busymarket area of Assam's eastern Tinsukia town, about 520 kilometreswest of the state's main city Guwahati, the police said. The bomb was concealed in a sack and strapped to a bicycle parkedin the market. Most of the injured were shoppers or vendors, policesaid. The injured were being treated in hospitals in the town. Four people were injured in another explosion of lower intensityin Guwahati city.
