TEHRAN, May 05, SPA -- Iran says it will not hold a new roundof talks with the U.S. on security in Iraq until Americanforces end their current assault against the Iraqi people. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini'sannouncement Monday is the first official confirmation thatthe talks will be suspended. Iran's semi-official Fars news agency quoted an unnamedsenior Iranian negotiator Saturday as saying new talks werenot possible with continued U.S. attacks against the Iraqipeople.
