KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, April 12, SPA -- A suicide bomber struck a road construction crew Saturday in southwesternAfghanistan, killing two people including an IndianEngineer, a provincial governor said. The Associated Press quoted Ghulam Dastagir as saying that the engineer and his Afghan driver were killed when the bomber hit members of an Indian construction crew in Khash Rod district of Nimroz province. Initially, Dastagir said three Indian engineers werekilled, but he later revised that figure. Eight other people, including five Indian workers and twocivilians, were wounded in the blast.
