KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, March 29, SPA -- A policeman says a bomb has exploded near a power plant in southern Afghanistan,killing two employees. The remote-controlled device was apparently hidden nearthe wall of the plant and was detonated Saturday morning. Mohammad Hussein Andiwal, the police chief in Helmandprovince, said two employees were killed and six wounded. Two civilian passers-by also were hurt, the Associated Press reported.
