BAGHDAD, January 28, SPA -- A roadside bomb struck a minibus insoutheastern Baghdad, killing at least three passengers andwounding five, police said. The bomb apparently was meant for a police patrol butmissed its target and blew up near the bus, which wascarrying a coffin to a funeral, a police officer said. Theattack occurred at about 8:30 a.m. in the New Baghdad neighborhood, the Associated Press reported. Elsewhere in the capital, a fire swept through the topfour floors of Iraq's Central Bank building before dawn,engulfing the documents holding room as well as severaloffices of key officials, another police officer said. The blaze broke out about 4 a.m. in the central bankgovernor's office, and an investigation was under way todetermine the cause and extent of the damage, the officersaid.
