Rome, July 31, SPA -- Italian lawmakers on Thursday gave final approval for the European Union's reform Treaty of Lisbon, with members of the lower house Chamber of Deputies voting unanimously to ratify the treaty, according to DPA. Last week the upper house Senate approved the treaty with aunanimous vote. Thursday's vote was welcomed by Italian President GiorgioNapolitano who described it as an "honour" for the Italianparliament.
